Madelaine E. McKenzie is a Paralegal at Campbells LLP in Oakville, Ontario.
Madelaine graduated from the Social Service Worker program at Loyalist College in 2004 and the Paralegal program at triOS College in 2009. Madelaine obtained her Paralegal License from the Law Society of Ontario in 2010 and immediately began working alongside Laughlin J. Campbell.
In January 2012, Madelaine established her own practice as a Paralegal, allowing her to advocate on behalf of clients, attend court and put her social service worker skills to use. She eventually settled into an in-house position as the Senior Litigation Clerk with a national Crown-owned insurance company. It was there that Madelaine gained the experience which many of her colleagues dream of – preparing for and attending a two-week personal injury jury trial.
In her role at Campbells LLP, Madelaine assists the Managing Partner in the firm on a variety of matters. Her primary areas of focus are corporate law, commercial and civil litigation, wills and estates and real estate transactions .
Madelaine continually acts as a mentor to many of her colleagues and is known for being a “heavy hitter” in complex litigation cases. In addition, Madelaine regularly volunteers her time to speak to classrooms of students in both the Law Clerk and Paralegal programs as a guest speaker.
In her spare time, Madelaine enjoys playing recreational softball, working on her family tree, visiting her hometown of Prince Edward County and spending time with her three children and husband.
